California AB 2047 • 3D printing outreach

Ask 3D printing companies to speak up.

Select companies, personalize a respectful message, and generate individual email drafts in your email app or Gmail. No backend, no tracking, no automated mass sending.

What this page does

This tool helps users contact public company email addresses or official contact forms, especially media, marketing, business, partner, sales, and general contacts. It is designed for civic outreach, not harassment or spam.

For best results, send to companies you use or care about, add a real personal note, and keep the tone respectful.

Why individual emails?

Individual drafts sent from a real person’s email account are more likely to be read than a giant CC/BCC blast. Select multiple companies at once. The tool creates separate email drafts for each one, which is usually more effective than a mass email, with buttons for a default email app and Gmail webmail.

AB 2047 summary

As amended July 2, 2026, AB 2047 would require the California Department of Justice to publish guidance on firearm blueprint detection algorithms and software control processes. It would require 3D printer manufacturers that make printers available for sale or transfer in California to submit model-by-model attestations, and beginning December 1, 2029, would prohibit covered sales or transfers of listed noncompliant printers in California, subject to exceptions in the bill.

This is a plain-language summary for outreach. It is not legal advice. Read the official bill text before relying on it.

Recommended: Open and send emails one company at a time. Use the email app button for Outlook/Apple Mail/etc., or the Gmail button for Gmail in your browser. Add a sentence about why that company matters to you. Do not threaten, harass, or flood inboxes.
